Maisie Williams versus Stella Hudgens
(Written by Girls Friday/Results by Lookout!)
(Girls Friday vs The Wannabes)
On tonights 20th Anniversary PPV we get a peak at two women who very well could be the people being the faces of the flyweight division in the next 20 years, Maisie Williams and Stella Hudgens fight it out now.
Maisie is 21 years old; she stands 5'1 and holds a record of 10 wins, all by knockout with 4 defeats.
Stella is 23 years old; she stands 5'4 and holds a record of 8 wins, all by knockout with 4 defeats.
This fight came about after Maisie defeated Stella's stablemate Sammi Hanratty and Stella had defeated Noah Cyrus at the last Wannabes PPV, it seemed both noticed each others performance, which led to both calling the other out to fight.
Now it is official, both young starlets are sitting on a stage at the FCBA press event announcing this PPV, the organization wanting to show off it's future.
Maisie is asked to speak first, where she first tells the press "I think we can both agree that it is an honour that we are on this card celebrating this amazing organization" Stella nods along at that.
"Now let me be clear though; I wanted this fight to prove I am going to be the face of the flyweight division, Stella I might be lucky to be still around then" continues Maisie as this time Stella stares daggers at her.
With Stella replying "Maisie you'll be lucky to be anything more then the little girl we all use as a punchbag" now it's Maisie's turn to stare angrily across the stage at her soon to be opponent.
"You Stella; you'll always be Vanessa's chubby little sibling" Maisie tells Stella, who stands up angrily shouting back to say that to her face.
The two surprise security with the speed they charge each other, hair is tugged every which way as both youngsters catfight to the delight of the press.
Ending up on one of the tables they were sat at moments before, glasses fly off the table as security struggles to pry the two apart.
When Stella is finally pulled off her top position, the two exchange threats on what they are gonna do to the other when that bell rings, this probably wasn't what the organisers wanted to see when selling the brands future.
Fight night; Maisie is first out with Lauren Berlingeri and Eva Carneiro beside her, she looks in the mood to get knockout Stella as she heads to the ring with a serious expression.
She is wearing a red sports bra with matching trunks, shoes, while her gloves are red with a white thumb, her hair is up in a ponytail.
Getting into the ring; Maisie nods to the fans as she jogs to her corner, she warms up by limbering up with Lauren telling what she expects to see tonight.
Now out comes Stella with new trainer Catherine Bell, both women look confident as they jog down to the ring smiling.
Stella is wearing a violet sports bra with white trim, matching trunks and shoes, her gloves are violet with white thumbs, while her hair is in a ponytail too.
Climbing into the ring; Stella does give Maisie a stern look before she turns to head over to her corner, where she begins to punch Catherine's hands as if they were pads, Catherine telling Stella to show why she's the future of the FCBA.
Both fighters are brought to the center of the ring, where Stella's height advantage becomes evident as she stares down angrily at Maisie, who defiantly stares backs.
When asked to touch gloves they loudly thud them together, then return back to their corners so they can begin 10 rounds of flyweight action.
The fighters come out quickly to exchange straight away, Maisie looking to get inside to work away but is getting knocked back by Stella, who looks the stronger woman.
Stella catches Maisie with two punches straight to her face, the Wannabes fighter takes the center of the ring, where she can use her reach to pin Maisie towards the ropes.
But she misses with a right as Williams slips under it, coming inside with two rights to the body, a left slamming into the jug of Hudgens to make her cry out looking pissed off at that shot.
The girls again begin to slug it out in close, letting their tempers control them as they each grunt with effort as they trade.
Stella manages to nudge Maisie back, landing a left across her face quickly followed by a straight that knocks her head back.
Leading to the American bullying Williams onto the ropes in the final thirty seconds, Maisie covering up as Stella throws a barrage towards her head, most landing on the gloves of Maisie as she shows a good defence.
The bell rings to end an energetic opening round, Stella pumping her fist in the air as she jogs over to her corner, Catherine giving her a thumbs up as she tells Stella to batter the shrimp as she puts it.
It looks like Maisie has learned not to go straight at Stella, she starts to move more as she looks for better angled to strike from.
The fighters are both landing stiff jabs as the pace slows down, with Stella looking to pressure Maisie back onto the ropes as she comes forwards.
Till Stella misses with a straight; Maisie dips under it before coming up with an overhand right that turns Stella's head.
Maisie landing to the body before she takes punches to her head making her retreat, with Williams starting to control the pace of the action by sticking and moving to attack.
With punches striking Stella's face; some sneaking into the jugs of the bigger girl, making it look like Maisie is wanting to rile Stella into making mistakes.
But Stella catches Maisie with a right hook, giving her the opening to knock the Brit backwards, Williams trying to cover up, ending punches through her mitts to mark up her face.
The round ends with both taking a moment to stare at each other, passing by looking angry as they want to make a statement tonight it seems.
Again the action starts off quickly as Maisie looks to move in close to work before moving back, Stella not letting her get inside so easily as both women trade.
With Maisie dipping under a straight to send hooks to the body, making Stella groan out as she is driven back towards the ropes.
Till Stella is able to land a left to the face of her opponent, opening up Williams to two cross punches that turns Maisie's head side to side.
It's Maisie now getting shoved back across the ring, her face getting caught with straight shots that causes blood to run from the nostrils of the Brit.
Maisie clinches up with Stella; with both spitting words into the others ear, when the referee breaks them up, Maisie moves off into space.
The late part of the round sees Maisie covering up as Stella hunts her down, Stella trying to pin the Game of Thrones star to the ropes.
The round ends with Stella whipping her ponytail into the face of Maisie as the long this goes the less respect it seems both for the other.
Sitting on her stool; Maisie looks angry as her nose is getting cleaned up, Lauren telling Maisie to box smarter as she is the better technical boxer in their eyes.
Stella starts off working on the front foot, landing punches to the guard of her opponent as she continues to push her around the outside of the ring.
The smaller Maisie begins to dip down more to get inside to work, before moving back to the outside when Stella starts swinging to take her head off.
Maisie starting to show off her skills; looking the faster fighter as she keeps moving in close to work, then getting back out when she takes clipping punches.
A right does catch Williams of top of her head, allowing Stella to land another two shots this time to the body as she forces her opponent backwards.
But she misses a left hook as Maisie dips down, coming up with an uppercut that knocks Hudgen's head back, allowing Maisie to now back up her opponent.
Stella covers up on the ropes as Maisie switches up to the body, still landing several to the jugs of Stella to make her start firing out of her guard, where Maisie can counter punch.
The round ends with Maisie looking happy as she jogs over to her corner, Lauren saying "that's my girl!" As Eva has to clean up her bloody nose.
Across the ring Stella has Catherine telling her to pick her punches, not to let her temper get the better of her as she can see the steam beginning to come out her ears.
Maisie gets off to a quick start; countering Stella as she slips under punches to come back up with shots across the face of her opponent.
The speed of Maisie is causing Stella issues, with her temper not helping things as she is throwing more wayward hooks.
Allowing Maisie to land a counter right to the ribs, followed by an overhand left that knocks Hudgens onto her heels, Maisie using her momentum to knock the bigger fighter onto the ropes.
Where Maisie looks to batter Stella, throwing flurries as she looks to land something to put down her opponent, who is covering up tightly in response.
Till Stella is able to clinch up with Maisie, the two end up grappling on the ropes as they trade shots to the others kidneys, the referee breaks them apart and warns them to keep it clean.
Maisie looks to keep on the front foot, probing with her jab as she dances around Stella, when she steps forwards though Hudgens catches her with a left to the side of her head.
The two slug it out in the final moments of the round to a loud cheer from the crowd, with the bell ringing to end the round soon enough.
It's the Girls Friday corner looking the happier as Maisie sits down, her cheeks are a little swollen though to go with the bloody nose, she is starting to show her skills off though.
Across the ring Catherine tells her fighter where to improve on, she is remaining a calm voice right now for the youngster.
Again Maisie starts off looking good as she gets on the move to work, dodging punches to get in close to continue working in the pocket.
Stella needing to nudge Maisie back to create a gap to work from, the girls are going back and forth as they look to prove their dominance here.
Till a right makes one cry out; Maisie stepping back as it lands squarely onto her nose, Stella following in to bash Maisie back towards the ropes.
When Maisie misses with an uppercut as she tries to catch out Stella; INSTEAD IT LEAVES HER OPEN TO A RIGHT ON HER TEMPLE THAT TAKES HER KNEES FROM UNDER HER, DOWN TO ALL FOURS GOES MAISIE!
The Stella fans roar as she jogs to a neutral corner, 1...2...3....4.. When Maisie tries to get up, she slips back down to her side looking punch drunk, 5...6...7.. Maisie shakes her head to try to clear it as 8...9...10 she is counted out!
Winner Stella Hudgens KO Round 6
This might prove long term to be a major result for Stella, both of these could be batting for years over the flyweight title someday, Stella has the bragging rights.
Something she wants to take as she heads over to Maisie, tossing her gloves down; Stella puts her boot onto the side of Maisie's face to grind it on the canvas.
"You are nothing but an annoying little bytch and always will be one" says Stella as she mounts the back of Maisie, pulling her hair up so she can slap the face of Williams to make her cry out to stop.
Lauren heads over to push Stella off her, with Catherine not happy at the interference as she nudges Lauren back away, the two coaches exchanging words as Stella looks angry at being taken off her prey.
Stella does manage to kick Maisie in her side as she gets up; further enraging the Girls Friday corner crew as even Eva gets involved to shout at Hudgens.
The Wannabes crew just laugh as they watch Lauren and Eva go to Maisie to check on her, their eyes locked onto the Wannabe crew in case of any sneak attack.
Instead Catherine raises the hand of Stella, shouting "this is the future of the flyweights!" As Stella curtsies to the crowd.
They leave the ring together as they clearly don't have anything more to do in the ring, Stella seeing big things on the horizon, with Catherine Bell maybe being the turning point for the careers of the young Wannabe fighters, with gold in their future.
In the ring Maisie is shedding tears as her corner crew trying to comfort her, telling her that next time she'll be the one slapping that bytch when all is said and done.
After being helped up and out the ring; Maisie hides her face as she continues to sob, her team needing to tell her that she will come back stronger because of this, that reminds to be seen right now, at only 21 she has a long way to go in her career.
