Daniella Monet vs Shenae Grimes (Team Nickelodeon vs Team CW) (0-4 vs 5-2, 5 KO) Results: Lookout!; Story: VassagoBEFORE: Let's make no mistake, Daniella Monet got absolutely humiliated by Michelle Keegen on the December PPV and that's exactly why Shenae Grimes steps away from sparring sessions in the Lioness Club of America gym and returns into active FCBA duty tonight. "This is easy pickings! I really need to stretch my elbows again and Daniella is one girl who has 'punchbag' written all over her face! Sure, I earn enough money over in LCA but you know, I still have a career going on here! If Avril Lavigne can make so much noise after sitting behind the desk for years then what stops me from getting up there as well? I'm at least as talented as she is and I hope I can whoop her ass one of these days". There's not much coming from the Monet camp during the build-up to this fight but that verbal submission to Keegan feels like strike one on her otherwise dismal record. Several experts believe the former Nickelodeon stalwart can only salvage her career over in Europe if she fails to beat Jessica Lowndes' sparring partner tonight. And she comes in as the underdog so the writing is really on the wall here! Daniella Monet wears a violet bikini set and silver gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a custom ponytail. Shenae Grimes wears a black bikini top, green hotpants and yellow gloves. Long dark brown hair in loose waves. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division. Round 1: Both women engage in a feisty jabbing affair but Daniella then steps up to deliver the odd hook or two and that drops Shenae behind immediate cover which is somewhat of a surprise. Perhaps she anticipates a straight-forward counter-punching blast but Monet gains more confidence instead and outworks the Canadian in close range. She settles down in picking her off over the top but one shouldn't expect a versatile display from the designated underdog here. Still, Grimes fails to deal with the assault and visibly wobbles a couple of times which only aids the American's progress. Daniella gets a little vocal when she manages to thump the fellow brunette back to the ropes and Shenae can only clinch herself into a stalemate which earns her an angry rant from coach Mendes during the break. Round 2: Daniella rattles through a shaky Canadian defense again and lands more crisp shots straight against Shenae's cheeks which enables her to stay on top of the close range dispute. Grimes' response finds thin air and bounces off the gloves which makes coach Mendes really upset but Monet dictates the pace of this affair so far and only lacks a genuine power punch to make the all important difference. Grimes finally thinks better off it after getting outworked both inside and out alas the defensive circles meet a jeering response from the Vancouver audience and one or two pundits begin to wonder if the favorite status actually hampers Grimes' approach here. Monet doesn't care about that as she lays more juice straight up the middle and only gets clinched into another stalemate late in the going; that's two on the bounce for the old Nickelodeon faithful and the negative reaction among the Canucks is very much understandable. Round 3: Grimes lands a lucky punch that drills Monet's mouth but she still gets tangled into another close range dispute that has the American firing from both flanks to keep the foot on the gas pedal. However these attacks finally lack precision and allow Shenae to power through with a big uppercut on the jaw that reels the fellow brunette on her heels. Daniella struggles to steer her shots from the back foot while getting picked off via repeated overhands that fuel the Canadian recovery. Shenae doesn't put enough weight behind her efforts to sink Monet into real trouble before the bell but she enjoys her best spell of the night and leaves the other girl covered behind a tight earmuff come the bell. Round 4: This isn't a genuine flyweight classic but Grimes settles in the close range groove having matched Monet's intensity during the opening minute here in the fourth. She lands more accurate punches up the middle as both girls remain active upstairs with only an odd strike or two below the cleavage. Shenae's southpaw stance finally makes the difference as we enter the second minute but Daniella's legs slumped a bit here and she does looks a little awkward when trying to pivot around the aerial attack; she gets nailed with a left hook on the mouth and whimpers when Grimes doubles up on the temple to reel her onto the ropes where the midsection assault finally comes to the fore. Nevermind the quick head-butt Shenae's glued to her target and she rallies to clean the fellow brunette's tummy before signing off the drive with a quick uppercut combo that leaves the American exposed. Ugh! Monet's punching resistance remains her biggest problem and she needs to shake off that last combo much longer than the Nick executves would have hoped for. Round 5: Daniella's sluggish footwork lets her down early in the fifth when she pivots the wrong way and eats a CRUNCHING left hook - the main dish of the Canadian assault here tonight. Grimes couldn't use it as often as the partisan audience had expected but she lands it bullseye seconds from the bell and stuns the hapless foe into a standstill so the follow up meets no resistance and almost breaks Daniella's nose! Ugh! She simply gets SMOKED and leans forward with a loud whimper just as Shenae connects with a left cross hook... that's three mighty shots on the bounce AND MONET GIVES UP THE GHOST!!! She drops onto her knees and collapses face down at the Canadian's feet moments later while coach Mendes already signals for the Lioness troops to flood the ring and attend to your KO5 winner - Shenae Grimes!!! AFTER: There's just no resilience in Monet's fighting attire these days and she looks like a future Asylum PPV cannon fodder according to the ultra negative Canadian press. Alas it's not like Grimes is ready to mount a proper elite run herself, she might sell out any building north of the border but she's gonna be hard pressed to escape the journeywoman stickers for remainder of her FCBA career. Stablemate Jessica Lowndes has pulled so far ahead on the Lioness pecking order, Grimes' status as the regular sparring partner is basically written in stone now. Final result: Shenae Grimes def. Daniella Monet KO5.

Candice Patton ("The Flash") vs Katie Cassidy ("Arrow") (FCBA Independent vs Empire Boxing) (4-2, 3 KO vs 12-15, 7 KO) Results: Lookout!; Story: VassagoBEFORE: This is the new TV classic presented by The CW network featuring two girls who are yet to break through on the FCBA market. Candice Patton's career only materialised after she was cast as Iris West on "The Flash" while "Arrow"'s Katie Cassidy never elbowed herself to the front line of the Empire roster and remains one of the most underrated bantamweights around the league. Several pundits believe she could be at least as successful as Laura Vandervoort if only she enjoyed a similar career push like the Foxfire blonde does. Candice gives away three inches in height but vows to take the taller girl down here and steals the pre-fight media spotlight even though she's not exactly thrilled to be fighting on Canadian territory tonight: "Some folks still value that Lowndes girl so high! I wonder why?" Well, a quick look at the Lowndes fighting record should be enough to explain that riddle. The Lioness Club is generous enough to provide coaching assistance to Candice tonight as Eva Mendes makes an appearance in the free agent's corner and that really makes the Empire coach Kate Beckinsale's face turn grey in no time. Candice Patton wears a red bikini set and black gloves. Long black hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Katie Cassidy wears a green bikini set and yellow gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a loose bun at the back of her head. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division. Round 1: Candice's speedy approach allows her to close in on the taller girl and work her drill from the inside. Katie just doesn't have the legs neccessary to shake off the brunette who powers ahead with some quick punches to the body. Katie struggles to make her superior reach count because she can't stretch her elbows properly and gets pummelled around with Patton working the high-octane plan to bully the taller girl around the ring. It takes time for Cassidy to adjust to these enforced circumstances and she simply runs out if it especially after Candice pounds her back to the ropes and carves into the ribcage like she really means business! Well, she sure does and that's one cheeky smile on Eva Mendes' face spotted by the camera! Round 2: Katie connects with the early punches and that's enough to keep the bubbling opponent at bay for a little longer now; Candice can't do much in mid-distance and it goes even worse from there when Katie whacks her with a proper aerial barrage that leaves the high guard exposed. Patton tries to sneak in under the attack but gets bounced on the top of her forehead and slides back into mid-distance again where she can only use her footwork to avoid more pressure shots from the taller opponent. Cassidy's precision drops come the final minute but she easily controls the action with Patton neutralized in mid-range swamp field. Round 3: More of the same in the third as the early jump brings joy for Team Arrow; Katie bangs one right in on the money and clatters Candice on the nose but it's the follow up that wrecks havoc as a piercing uppercut sinks the smaller girl on wobbly knees and allows the blonde to cash in with a proper head-hunting blast. Ugh! Patton's ponytail goes for a ride here as she gets clobbered back to the ropes and only stops the blonde's punches with her face! Katie's power rush breaks the 'Iris West' resistance much faster than anyone gathered inside Rogers Arena anticipated and Candice bellows out against the ropes with a loud whimper while the Empire woman WHACKS her with a nasal ridge-breaking stunner!!! Uh-oh! PATTON GOES DOWN IN THE CORNER and Eva Mendes screams out her loudest as she's ready to smack the proud blonde herself next. That one will really hurt in the morning but Candice gets up at seven and indicates she hasn't suffered a structural damage. She retains enough awareness to escape a looming leather drive but spends remainder of the round in hectic retreat as Cassidy hunts her down and delivers a late flurry straight on the wounded nose again to sink 'The Flash' heroine into real trouble come the bell! Rounds 4 & 5: It's checkdown mode for Patton who remains troubled by the knockdown and while she can find respite in mid-range thanks to superior agility, she basically defaults any serious comeback attempt with Cassidy on the verge of running out with a landslide lead on the cards. She's well aware that she frightened the heck out of her opponent now and that size difference begins to channel the mismatch tune from the press even though the pursuit loses it's momentum in the final minute of each round. Candice's response hardly makes Team Arrow blink here and Katie actually teases the smaller woman verbally before adding more single punches upstairs just to annoy her even further. Katie remains on top of her game both physically and mentally and has Candice pounding the turnbuckle in frustration at the bell but why she doesn't channel this wrath when it actually matters? It's 49-45 on the cards at half-distance and that's as bad as it gets at this stage. Round 6: Katie is guilty of more teasing and perhaps that's why she never earned herself the elite praise? Either this or Patton SMOKING her with a wild cross that cracks the nasal ridge and stuns the hitherto dominant blonde COLD!!! "What are you doing!?!!", coach Beckinsale has apparently woken up but it's too late as Candice whacks the taller actress around the ring and snaps her head around so violently it almost makes you feel the strenght of these shots! Cassidy's below par mobility gets exposed again and she can't mount a proper response with her tame strikes slicing thin air while Patton rams it up her gut and traps her on the ropes where she rallies back like there's no tomorrow. Well, there isn't any tomorrow if you look at the scorecards and the shocking power assault leaves the blonde gasping for air when the bell mercifully halts the 'Iris West' rout! Erin Andrews wants to see the script for the next round before it actually happens but that aching look on Katie's face is just painful to watch! Round 7: She can't recover from that beating and it's mayday time for Katie who gets BELTED with a nasty harpoon on the liver area seconds into the seventh leaving Candice with more time and space to deliver the uppercut blast that drops curtains on Team Arrow. We're back to round one heroics but this time Katie's in no shape to respond and gets WRENCHED to the canvas after a one-sided beating both north & south that leaves her mumbling her surrender while still on her feet but not loud enough for Candice to show her clemency. She finishes the rattled blonde with a hook on the right ear but Katie was on a downhill ride already!!! KO7 Candice Patton in enormous come-from-behind fasion!!! AFTER: Eva Mendes grabs the scorecards from the judges and throws them straight at Kate Beckinsale's face. The English cougar is left speechless and just stares at the smoking heap in the ring aka whatever's left from Katie Cassidy's pride. That turnaround was worthy the price of admission alone and it's one of the biggest in recent FCBA memory as Candice was left for dead at half-distance only rise from the proverbial ashes. Suddenly she doesn't mind the trip up north anymore and calls Vancouver her new favorite city while sharing a laugh with Eva Mendes. However she still got very fortunate that Cassidy didn't break her nose in the third since the fight could have well ended right there and then. There were enough fireworks available to fill out an episode on either of the two shows but it's Team Flash that will celebrate here tonight and only 'Iris West' realizes how hard she had to work for that one! Final result: Candice Patton def. Katie Cassidy KO7.

Jessica Lowndes vs Camila Cabello (Lioness Club of America vs Empire Boxing) (29-17-1, 28 KO vs 7-6, 7 KO) Results: Lookout!; Story: VassagoBEFORE: The Lioness Club Alpha fighter - the one and only Jessica Lowndes - will turn 30 in November and the fact remains several young upstarts have arrived on the FCBA scene in the recent years which leaves experts and fans alike questioning whether the Canadian stunner still has what it takes to fend off the 90s brigade. She answered the call on last month's PPV against Ariel Winter but needed no less than eight rounds to dispatch the Front Street cub and things aren't getting any easier with Camila Cabello tonight. The Cuban vixen has won the Kids' Choice Breakthrough Artist of the Year award back in March and is ready to spoil the Lowndes party in the Canadian's own backyard tonight. However this isn't a genuine Main Event on the Lioness radar since Olivia Holt awaits the Alpha brunette on the July 4th beach boxing card and that fact alone upsets Cabello so much she needs to be reminded that Megan Fox is scheduled to fight her on the June PPV as well. Both these girls tune in for the dress rehearsal in front of the Vancouver audience and Erin Andrews claims it's one of these classic sleepers that will be talked about for months to come! Jessica Lowndes wears a leopard trim bikini top, red panties and white gloves with a small maple leaf painted on each of them. Long dark brown hair tied in a high ponytail. Camila Cabello wears a navy blue bikini top, black panties and silver gloves. Long black hair tied in a curly ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division. Round 1: Youth takes center stage here in the Rogers Arena as Camila gallops into a steady jabbing rush that leaves Lowndes on the back foot. However the Lioness entourage had this pacey start from the youngster covered and allthough the partisan crowd wants some classic Alpha juice it's all down to Cabello's antics and she has plenty of them in store. Lowndes survives the onslaught thanks to a bulletproof guard alas she's unables to shake the Cuban off the close range stance and these dancing moves expose the Canadian veteran a bit as Camila seeks more success and is clearly upset she hasn't really punished the fellow brunette even though she dominated the early numbers. Round 2: Lowndes keeps waiting for the plucky Cuban to make her moves but throws more counter-punching shots to neutralize the danger and both girls tangle in a wild close range frenzy that allows them to score with single punches but not exactly gain a clear advantage. Maybe Camila wants to channel some random Havana street brawl as she comes in very reckless but Jessica has the gruesome Ariel Winter contest still lingering around and she doesn't execute the counter-punching drill very effectively which leaves the Cuban youngster with plenty of space to work with. However the determination doesn't match the production and Cabello's attacks stall come the third minute when it's time for Lowndes to stack her up with a late aerial reply. Round 3: More of the same in the third, Lowndes allows Cabello to waste precious energy in a largely fruitless pursuit while settling for a steady jabbing drill that makes no impression on the Latin hellcat. However Camila pays a small price for her otherwise reckless approach as she walks into a quick hook that would have wrecked havoc if only the Lioness Alpha bothered to fire it from the turn. She doesn't and that gives her opponent more brawling tune that results in both girls slowing right down when Cabello fails to escape the clinch and the maple leaf -friendly ref decides to ignore it. Camila's fuse remains in tact but she gives LCA coach Eva Mendes a long stare during the break. Round 4: Jessica finally hits the front and neutralizes the youngster in mid-distance before blasting her straight up to test the chin. Ugh! Camila has none of it and flies in so recklessly she would have been SMOKED if only the Canadian's timing was spot on. It wasn't and it's Lowndes who eats the BIG punch that slams her on the nose and sinks on visibly shaken knees. Another quick pounce allows Cabello to bulldoze her foe back to the ropes and the phone booth-like struggle plays into her tactics with the clinching stalemate stymied this time. She rattles several crisp punches that slice Jessica's guard way too often here and the Vancouver crowd is basically silenced with the Cuban hottie pounding away all the way through as Lowndes remains tucked but-in-ropes. Round 5: Cabello does it again and beats the local favorite for the initial punch and when she camps upstairs then even a Top 5 ranked flyweight can't handle the drill. Camila lets it all fly and she outworks the stunned Canadian and dissects her with her own weapon. Just lay it down and see if she cracks! SHE DOES!!! Lowndes whimpers a ton and lets a double hooking blast slam her on the mouth before she misses the overhand and gets NAILED with one of Cabello's finest!!!! DOWN GOES LOWNDES!!! She slides down on her backside in the corner and the Rogers Arena is silenced again! Camila punches the air in delight but there's more work required as the former flyweight champion simply won't go down for keeps yet. She makes it back upright at seven and winks back to the crowd which only upsets the Cuban tourist even further. However wrath is bad company here next as Cabello fails to close the door and engages in a fruitless scrap along the ropes that Lowndes survives thanks to superior reach. She then blasts the youngster on the right eye and leaves her scowling in anger once again at the bell. Round 6: Camila's build a solid lead on the cards but she wants a juicy KO with Megan Fox awaiting her on the PPV in a fortnight's time. She resumes the high-octane drill and forces the local favorite to responds in a similar fashion which leads into a street style slugfest the recent Lookout! vs Girls Friday stable war would be proud of. And whike Cabello has the tools to upset the ex-champ, this is where Lowndes feels at home and she TEARS a bloody patch over the Cuban's left eye which stuns the kid and enables the vet to cash in with more juice. Ugh! Here come the Canuck roar and Camila's unable to match the intensity; she stumbles to her heels and then gets WHACKED on both temples which sends her flying back onto the ropes. Uh-oh! She refuses to step aside and just bounces right into the path of another whirlwind hooking blast that leaves her sagging on the ropes come the bell. Whoa! That kind of a shot broke Vanessa Hudgens AND Mishy Williams down before but the Latin kid survives it even though she seems a little dizzy here now. Round 7: Dizzy or not, the cut over the left eye becomes more of an issue here and Lowndes is sucking all the life out of the Cuban dynamo as she works the jabbing assault before piercing the wounded spot. Ugh! Camila has finally run out of steam but she gets glued to the spot in wake of that elite raw power and Lowndes' bullies her back to the ropes where she keeps raining head shots until Cabello GURGLES in disarray. She can't find anything on the counter and succumbs to the relentless prowl... Rogers Arena buckles up for a home stretch finish and Jessica finds it when she drills one on the solar plexus to wobble the fellow brunette into a thunderclap uppercut on the jaw!!! CAMILA IS DOWN... oh my, the kid can't hold on any longer and ends up face down at the veteran's feet. And she's run out of gas alltogether now... the count passes her by and there won't be any singing in Havana tonight! KO7 Jessica Lowndes in epic come-from-behind fashion!!! AFTER: The 90s brigade is really wearing the Canadian champ down and Jessica doesn't have the strenght to celebrate this success. She looks downright relieved when she finds Eva Mendes' embrace and even ignores the casual joke from sparring buddy Shenae Grimes. This was Camila Cabello's "coming of age" night right until half-distance and it's downright cruel to see the youngster pounding the canvas in frustration as she finally emerges from the KO den. On the other hand the Winter-Cabello back-to-back test has left Lowndes exposed and Olivia Holt will be licking her chops on the Odds & Ends summer event on July 4th according to BLONDE! Magazine panel. Even that loud roar heard all around Vancouver tonight won't silence the critics and the fact that the Lioness Alpha fighter is no longer a runaway favorite against these pesky kids. Two down, one to go. Can she complete the 90s generation sweep? Final result: Jessica Lowndes def. Camila Cabello KO7.
