The beach boxing season kicks off at the Waimea Bay in Hawaii where the Lioness Club of America hosts a special event presented by the one and only Nicole Scherzinger who returns to her home state to celebrate a homecoming of sorts.

LCA would like to thank the Sports Illustrated magazine for providing the financial backing which made staging this event possible.

The beach boxing card will go ahead as follows:

Lightweight: Karolina Kurkova (Lioness Club) vs Irina Shayk (#KHAOS)

Bantamweight: Nicole Scherzinger (Lioness Club of America) vs Eliza Dushku (Medallion Boxing)

(Main Event) Mystery Blonde (Independent) vs Emily DiDonato (Independent)

Yes, the main event features a mystery woman who according to unnamed sources could well be one of the WWE divas making a special beach boxing entry tonight.

BEFORE: You'll find plenty of sun in Russia these days - and even more in the Czech Republic but one simply doesn't refuse a free trip to Hawaii when Lioness Club of America covers the expenses... The Waimea Bay beach boxing card has to kick off one way or another and Karolina Kurkova is the original member of the stable when it was limited to BBU action only... one can say Irina Shayk has outmuscled her in the glamour department lately but apparently there's no Eastern European animosity between the two of them as they enter the provisional ring here on the white sands of the Hawaiian landscape.. well, no animosity, right... so whey they refuse to touch gloves? It must be the Russian thing... or the Czech thing... or the lack of vodka... or the beer is lousy? Do they even sell beer in Hawaii? Who cares? Let's go down ringside...

Karolina Kurkova wears a bronze cobblestone-themed bikini and white gloves. Long blonde hair straight, tucked behind the ears. Irina Shayk wears a navy blue bikini with a fancy strip along the hips. Long dark brown hair in loose waves. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

Round 1:
Kurkova's confidence is really high these days following an important win over Sophie Turner lately and she dominates the Russian in a hectic close range assault during a largely one-sided opener. It looks like Irina needs time to settle in but the blonde simply doesn't give her any chance while blasting through her high guard and reeling her backwards very easily. Confidence is truly a huge factor in some of these fights and due to Shayk's uncertain management status, some fans think of her as a mere tomato can thrown at the Lioness Club hosts. Kurkova works well from the front (left) leg and pounds the brunette into the ropes come the final minute where she bounces off her ab muscles and keeps her trapped behind a tight earmuff.

Round 2:
Irina simply can't be any more lethargic than in the first round and finally shows some fancy moves as she blocks off the blonde's initial approach before smacking Kurkova across the lips with a quick hooking slant. Both women work from the inside but Shayk matches the older model's intensity and lands her shots upstairs which snaps Karolina's head back repeatedly come the second minute. Meanwhile the Czech blonde digs her mitts into the body - the vulnerable area for most of these models - but lacks the evil juice she displayed in the opener and gets stuffed in the corner thereafter as Shayk's aerial attacks become a little too hot to handle anymore.

Round 3:
Irina's settled in for good now and keeps firing over the top with Karolina unable to stay clear of the repeated onslaught. She gets caught with a nasty combo on the lips and as her gloves drop by her boobs, the brunette slams another huge hook straight on the nose AND DECKS KURKOVA in highly impressive fashion!!! That really caught the fans around Waimea Bay by surprise and no less the Czech model! She quickly gets up at five and indicates she got stuck in some hole in the sand but Irina just laughs this excuse off and jumps into another jabbing frenzy instead. Kurkova hangs in there for a while but when Shayk bursts through her lips again, there's no recovery possible anymore and the Russian pounds her into the corner where she keeps slicing her way through the high guard and prevents any sort of a comeback from behind the guard. Huge round for Irina who shakes her glove in delight while Karolina only shrugs her shoulders and tries to keep the battle face on. It's not really working though.

Round 4:
One can accuse Shayk of being a little one-dimensional in her attacks but they worked well enough to floor the Czech blonde in the third! And Kurkova refuses to battle through adversity here and hangs back while Irina hassles her across the sand with more cruel ideas on her mind. She doesn't look so imposing in the mid-distance slicing and dicing but Karolina's overly defensive stance doesn't win her any favors among the judges either! It's a cagey round where Shayk holds back the artillery instead of perhaps gassing out in a fruitless pursuit and while she wins the round with little fireworks involved, she might yet regret not pushing for the ultimate (T)KO success here! However Karolina still looks very tense during the break and it's obvious she didn't anticipate having to work from behind at any stage of this bout.

Round 5:
BIG PUNCH SHAYK!!! As if the previous knockdown wasn't enough, now she adds a deep cut on the blonde's face. She slams a left/right cross immediately off the bell and beats the older model for the all important connection. Karolina sinks in the sand and wobbles forward with a whimper... there's some blood sprinkling from the wound under the left eye and Irina hauls in more uppercuts on the jugs as the aching Czech tries to clinch herself to safety. It doesn't really work and the brunette works the uppercut charge so well she stuffs the hapless foe in the center of the ring before another left cross dumps Kurkova sideways against the ropes. Shayk scampers across the sand to deliver the potential KO haymaker... and SHE MISSES IT!!! More luck than is deserved for the Lioness entourage as the Russian bounces off Karolina's shoulder and gets wrestled into a lenghty clinching stalemate instead. Kurkova's running on fumes but finds the grit to hold off the looming disaster as the referee does little to help Shayk from breaking free. Some words are exchanged between the two models and Irina's the one losing her temper but once she finally breaks the clinch, the clock expires and she only manages to land a single punch on the lips that is nowhere near enough to send the Czech blonde packing.

Round 6:
Despite a huge lead on the cards, Irina is clearly upset! She thinks she should have knocked Karolina out in the fifth and the referee decided to turn a blind eye on some of the questionable tactics from the Lioness Club model which worked against her. Emotions run high now and that's never the best idea to be influenced by them, Shayk throws more punches as she seeks working from the inside again but gets blocked off and the blonde mounts a recovery while blasting her foe to the body. She leans a little bit too much and catches the brunette with a headbutt but again, the ref urges them to continue. A right-on-right then sinks Irina on her heels and Karolina adds a brutal uppercut straight up the alley! She romps into a jabbing galore thereafter and backs the hitherto dominant opponent into the ropes; Shayk tries to swing back from the back foot but misses the target and Kurkova squashes her lips with a heavy left/right combo before sticking her left glove in the solar plexus. Ugh! That folds the Russian behind a tight earmuff and Karolina cleans out shop pounding away at the younger model's body to basically win her first round since the opener! Maybe there is some hope left for the Lioness crew?

Round 7:
Irina keeps charging at the blonde and clearly targets a knockout success rather than sitting on her points lead; however she could really use adding a punch to the body as Karolina's high guard blocks her off during a frantic opening minute before a quick harpoon to the guts leaves the Russian exposed. It's a swarming attitude from the brunette but Karolina really finds her rhythm in pounding away at the body and she cracks Irina's liver area while chopping in full force come the second minute. Shayk tries to circle back but slips on the sand and wobbles into a left hook that nails her on the ear... another quick follow up from the other side bursts through the lips and makes the younger model scowl however there's no stopping the blonde's charge anymore as she delivers another uppercut on the jaw TO SEND IRINA SPAWLING DOWN ON THE SAND!!! What a recovery from the Lioness girl! Now it's Irina's turn to act like nothing happened, she jumps back to her feet at five but gets immediately tackled to the body with a harpoon series and she just can't find a way to block these shots... she bends awkwardly while trying to throw some punches from her heels but Karolina peppers her liver with more stinging strikes and finally finds the one that does her opponent in... SHAYK BURTS INTO SPASMS and shrieks out in disarray while hugging her liver!!! Ugh! She turns her back to the blonde and bends against the ropes SO THE REF WAVES THE FIGHT OFF on the spot... it happened so fast some of the fans didn't even notice the shot that introduced Irina into the world of pain... And she just can't believe it herself cursing in her native language before finally sliding down on her bums and resting her head against the knees. TKO7 Karolina Kurkova!!!

AFTER: Karolina's epic rally warrants the praise she receives from the Hawaiian audience but she rode her luck earlier when Irina pretty much should have knocked her out before half-distance. The questionable decisions - or lack thereof - by the referee helped the Czech model to survive a very difficult period however Irina's lack of body punishment really raises all the important questions. She inflicted a deep gash on Karolina's face but allowed the emotions to get the better of her and paid a heavy price when Kurkova landed one of these stingers to the liver you simply don't recover from anymore.

There are rumours linking both Karolina and Irina to more beach boxing fights soon but the Lioness Club front office declines to comment as their focus switches onto guiding Nicole Scherzinger into a successful homecoming return within the next few minutes. And some other things as well but more on that later...

Final result: Karolina Kurkova def. Irina Shayk TKO7.

BEFORE: Nicole Scherzinger's FCBA careers appears to be at the crossroads right now but boxing on the beach remains the favorite dish of the Hawaiian native who still rates a famous win over Laura Vandervoort on these very same Waimea Bay sands as her biggest success since switching over from Lookout! Boxing three and a half years ago. The only problem is that Nicole has won just once in the last two seasons and trying to break a winless streak against a member of Tractorpull's Hall of Fame is a very bold idea indeed - even when the fight takes place in your home state!

Eliza Dushku is that Hall of Famer in question, she last browsed the loose yellowish surface almost twelve months ago when she got stopped by Nina Dobrev who then became her Medallion stablemate just few days later. There's no danger of Dushku losing her management in case of a defeat tonight but several pundits wonder what's exactly the plan for the multiple FCBA champion going forward, a quick look at her record suggests she might well target reaching 100 wins in her elusive career, she's currently three short of that incredible benchmark!

Nicole Scherzinger wears an all white bikini set matching well with her tanned skin and black gloves. Long raven-black hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Eliza Dushku wears a black bikini set with white trim and yellow gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a custom ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
The home crowd favorite leaps into immediate action and tries to dominate the close range assault but Eliza shows some quick feet and dekes around Nicole's aerial attacks before driving up her gut with a well-measured hooking combo. Ugh! Nicole gets stuck in the loose surface early and fails to match the Hall of Famer's intensity which leads into an extended period of Dushku simply digging her yellow mitts into the tanned midsection of the Hawaiian queen. That wasn't in the script at all and Nicole gets pounded into ropes where she struggles to respond from behind the guard and caves in when the younger brunette ups the tempo of her attacks to run away with the numbers. Hall of Fame statement much?

Round 2:
Nicole beats the charging opponent for a quick overhand punch and adds another one of the windpipe - that somehow gets through between Dushku's guard - and cleans out the close range action as the younger brunette tries to catch her breath. Nicole makes the most of that fortunate situation and jabs with high intensity while flirting with the odd strike on the temples. Eliza's forced on the back foot and trips over a hole in the sand which allows the Hawaiian native to reel her into the ropes where she keeps pounding her to the body. That's the tactics that Nina Dobrev executed to perfection when stopping Dushku last year and it's obvious Nicky has been watching some tapes here. Still, Eliza lands some crisp single punches to prevent a true Hawaiian whitewash in this round.

Round 3:
Another quick tangle in the center of the ring results in both women airing it out but Scherzinger finds that stinger on the eye and snaps Dushku's head back repeatedly afterwards. Ugh! The Hall of Famer gets outworked in close range and must yield real estate but almost rolls her ankle in a hectic retreat and gets CAUGHT with a vicious hook on the right eye that dumps her on the ropes just past the one minute mark. That will look pretty bad in the morning! Eliza's eye begins to swell quickly and as she caves in in the corner, Nicole lashes it out and splits those yellow mitts to connect with the cheeks. Dushku can't tame the barrage and gets clobbered in the corner as the local brunette rolls back the Vandervoort tape and remains in command until another vicious combo on the eye adds to the swelling AND FORCES ELIZA TO TAKE A KNEE!!! Oh yes, we're in the familiar homecoming territory now! Dushku delays the count as much as possible but looks fresh at eight again. Nicky tries to further explore the swelling around the eye but becomes a little too predictable and gets blocked off whereas Dushku finally locks that much-needed clinch to see out the clock. However that was a dismal round for the Medallion's Hall of Famer!

Round 4:
Pretty much everyone around the Waimea Bay thinks it's a matter of time before their heroine sends Eliza packing... but you shouldn't underestimate the Hall of Famer in pursuit of a milestone success... thanks to some nifty footwork Dushku avoids the anticipated leather rush and as she scampers back & forth across the sand, Nicole gets a little careless and wobbles forward only grazing the Albanian flesh... and Eliza SMOKES her with a right hook on the jaw before leaping into a counter-striking galore... Scherzinger charges in at her regardless AND GETS WHACKED on the lips with a drilling shot before another one sends her mouthpiece flying out!!! What in the world??? NICKY IS DOWN... the homecoming queen gets wrenched on her back and the yellow dust is settling down slowly... Booyah!!! Eliza almost plants her foot on the fallen brunette's chest but quickly gathers her thoughts and struts back to her corner while the ref searches for Nicky's gumshield which apparently is on it's way to Cook Islands... but she got smoked into jelly mode here, folks!!! All the hope for a Vandervoort repeat is GONE!!! KO4 Eliza Dushku in powerful fashion!!!

AFTER: Disaster has struck in the Waimea Valley but perhaps it shows the current state of affairs for the Hawaiian's most popular fighter. The winless streak is still on! That's six in a row for the crowd favorite who's only defeated the lacklustre Lisa Maffia since her epic beach war triumph over Laura Vandervoort. Some pundits said that this would be Nicky's high water-mark performance and based on the results that followed, they were correct. Of there there are no easy outs on Nicole's schedule courtesy of LCA's trademark high-end match-making, all Top 10-20 operators but at this stage of her career, she could really use some of the journeywomen she used to beat up at the Asylum...

As the local surfers try to revive the Scherzinger deadmeat, Eliza looks around the landscape and leaves the ring almost unnoticed. After such a high-profile comeback into what seemed to be a lost contest, she deserves a drink or two while the crowd awaits the arrival of the Mystery Blonde in the evening's Main Event. However one shouldn't overlook the fact that Duskhu still has some fuel left in that Hall of Fame tank and is just TWO wins away from reaching the century milestone!

Final result: Eliza Dushku def. Nicole Scherzinger KO4.

BEFORE: Even considering Nicole Scherzinger's terrible demise against Eliza Dushku just minutes ago, it's still a huge surprise to see someone else than the Hawaiian native starring in the Main Event of a Beach Boxing card held in the Waimea Bay of all places. The odds were stacked against Nicole based on her cold streak over the past couple of years but still... who deserves more attention than the finest FCBA body to come from this state?

Emily DiDonato? Well, she's not exactly your new kid in town this side of the Hudson River... say hello to Orange County, New York!!!

Oh yes, the Mystery Blonde!!! Does Tess Valmore sponsor this card? Could it be that long-time bitter rivals, she and LCA owner Mr. V, have joined forces and presented the FCBA with the one and only??? Well, exhibit a) They don't grow blondes in Hawaii... exhibit b) Nashville is the last place where you'd seek a Hawaiian connection...

So what gives???

Emily knows all about it once she notices who enters the ring from the opposite side... "It had to be you...." oh yes, now we get the connection in full picture, sports fans... but more on that later... besides, she was told about her on the plane already...

{{{ Roll tape: THREE DAYS BEFORE }}}

Emily en face to the camera: "I've been shipped here first class, you know, they've said a private sponsor wants me to shoot some beach pics... the usual stuff, I thought Turks & Caicos here we go again... I thought they'll bring in Alex Morgan or Caro Wozniacki or people like that but then again, it's July and we usually shoot in December... and then they told me... well, I'm still a free agent you know, I can't stay on these Vixens cards forever... so I said, why not? But I'm probably the first person from the outside who knows WHO the Mystery Blonde is... it's a challenge but you know, I'm the new face, she's... well, let's just wait and see..."

{{{ Tape fades away to the Waimea Valley landscape }}}

Mystery Blonde (let's call her Tess for future reference) wears a turquoise & black themed bikini and white gloves. Long blonde hair straight. Emily DiDonato wears a loose yellow sleeveless shirt tied in a knot just below the breasts, blue knickers and matching blue gloves. Long brown hair in loose waves. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

Round 1:
Both women circle around each other for a while before the mystery blonde teases Emily into a quick attack... one has to earn her salary one way or another but the initial tangle brings the New York native little success as the mystery blonde dekes well on her feet to avoid the leather rush before looping several overhand strikes to keep her at bay. Both women seem happy to follow a mid-distance approach but Emily just can't find a way through the blonde's high guard and lacks the mean punch in general. It's rude to call her a lightweight creampuff but some of the fans think she's simply overwhelmed by the exprience however the mystery blonde refuses to trigger a more aggressive approach and only smiles back at the brunette's half-hearted efforts.

Round 2:
The crowd hopes that the lukewarm opening round was just the proverbial calm before the storm and well, the storm comes courtesy of the blonde in the second as she ups her work-rate to force some quick moves across the sand from the otherwise delightful brunette. Emily's relative inexperience prevents her from immediately responding to the charge but she holds her ground down the stretch and avoids getting trapped on the ropes before suddenly blasting the most powerful strike of the bout yet that scythes the blonde across the mouth and wobbles her on her heels. Blonde almost trips over the sand as she tries to regain her balance but there's DiDonato cranking up some juice and finding the target upstairs. She swivels the wavy blonde hair around her rival's neck and digs a vicious hook on the cleavage that makes the other woman squeal in pain. A futile attempt to lock a clinch drops the blonde even further back as Emily powers through and dominates a late jabbing rally to close out the round. The New Yorker looks really stunned by the successful conclusion and maybe this Main Event still has another mystery to solve after all!

Round 3:
Emily's really up for the task now and outworks the blonde in close range before landing some shots to the chest and that clearly affects the other woman. A brief clinching stalemate follows but the brunette breaks the deadlock and beats the blonde for a quick left-on-left while adding another harpoon to the ribcage in quick succession. The blonde drops on her heels and kicks extra sand in frustration when she gets stuffed with more punches to the body. DiDonato now barks in her efforts to further establish herself in this bout and the sheer workload allows her to keep the mystery opponent at bay through the final minute. More sand gets kicked up as both women show impressive agility considering their professional pedrigree but the brunette fails to add the really big punches to further dent the blonde's confidence even if she wins the round via artistic impression. Mind you, one doesn't complain about the artistic value of both of these women and the crowd really hopes they'll punch each other to shreds going forward. Even the Scherzinger/Dushku clash didn't earn so much applause from the Hawaiian audience and that really tells you something about the Lioness match-making proccess!

Round 4:
Enough with letting the brunette look like a seasoned gatekeeper veteran... the blonde realizes she won't beat her up without showing her full potential and another mid-distance tangle swings the bout into her favor. She beats DiDonato for the initial punch and hammers in more quick shots on the nose to knock the brunette back. Emily tries to swing one from the back foot but finds nothing except thin air and gets plastered with a right cross that damages her right brow ridge on the spot. Ugh! She sinks on jelly knees and can't apply a proper clinch in order to delay further punishment so the other woman just lays into her during a one-sided final minute. DiDonato gets pummelled back to the ropes where she soaks up all the juice she can take, there's plenty of it alright but that's also a preview of what the blonde has in store here! She stacks Emily behind a desperate earmuff and looks annoyed when the bell eventually halts her charge. But there's a lot more to come soon...

Round 5:
Sure enough, the injection pace proves difficult for DiDonato to sustain on the long run... she notices the change in her opponent's demeanour but she can do little about it now... she fends off the initial jabbing heat and even loops some promising shots on her own but when the other woman cranks it up, nobody in the crowd has any doubts where this fight is going. Emily kicks up some sand in an attempt to perhaps distract the charging foe but she eats a faceful of leather during a bruising second minute and gets trapped on the ropes again as the blonde ravages her to the body to ignore the desperate high guard. The brunette's midriff takes a beating and she's clearly in some bother as she can't even find those single punches anymore and tries to limit the damage. She drops her arms in a futile effort to prevent the blonde from chopping her guts into mush but then a swift hook upstairs adds to the swelling on the brow ridge and leaves DiDonato whimpering for air at the bell. At half-distance the mystery woman has finally forged ahead and the big smile on her face says it all.

Round 6:
Emily tries to furher delay the blonde's charge but gets outworked in close range and trips back on her heels, she dekes to the left which makes her other woman miss with her initial drive but then a looping cross from the left finds that wounded brow ridge and results in DiDonato whimpering again under pressure. Emily's cross goes nowhere and she gets stacked with another left hook before the blonde camps in her cleavage and almost unties the knot under the jugs. Ugh! The brunette begins to squeal as she gets picked off from point blank range before dropping on the ropes for good. She throws a couple of heart-hearted jabs but the other girl works around her swollen brow ridge and lands a nasty combo that bends Emily forward into more spasms. A quick hook on the chest makes the brunette moan: "Oh, Gawd.." and a pinpoint follow up pierces the solar plexus which overcomes the last resort of DiDonato's resistance... THE BRUNETTE GOES DOWN on her knees and the loud yelps coming from her mouth indicate how improbable her recovery is... nope, it could be the swollen brow ridge or the undisclosed salary she received from the Lioness brass but she prefers to stay down and spare herself further punishment against a superior woman... KO6 Mystery Blonde... or well, your newest Lioness Club of America member!!

AFTER: The mystery is revealed as the victorious woman offers the fallen brunette a helping hand. But of course everyone recognizes the face from the Sports Illustrated covers:

"I hope I wasn't too rough on you there in the end? Serinda told me you're quite a tough cookie!",

"Indeed, I am but well, I wish I knew what I've signed for a little bit earlier. When they told me on the plane I took all this extra cash to fight Brooklyn Decker somewhere in Hawaii I couldn't believe it!"

"Trust me, a great deal of people won't believe it either! We had to keep Irina Shayk off Instagram not to spoil the surprise (laughs)"

Karolina Kurkova approaches the two fellow models and officially takes over the introduction duties as poor Nicole Scherzinger still hasn't recovered from her epic knockout defeat at the hands of Eliza Dushku:

"OK, so here it is... Nicole was supposed to do this but well, you know, okay, so everyone recognizes the name, the face and all that... I mean, I almost wish Lily Aldridge was here instead of me but she's busy back in the gym (laughs),

Okay, so Brooklyn... can we finally call you Brooklyn? You didn't fool anyone acting as Tess Valmore back at the hotel. They do sell Sports Illustrated around Hawaii, besides, it's 21st century after all..."

"And I was called the 21st Century Goddess before getting canned..." (laughs)

"OK, so the media will flood in with questions once the word gets out... heck, we're trending on twitter already... but Brooks, how about that fight? Do we really need to talk about it? It's all about the future, isn't it?"

"It is but let me just say Emily will enjoy a long and successful career over in the FCBA. She was anything but a tomato can who just accepted the cash. But I admit, she got paid like a rock star! She accepted the fight on relative short notice, against an unknown opponent but Mr. V told her I'm a seasoned pro with a Hall of Fame record... without actually being a member of the Hall (laughs). She only found out three days before the fight but still went in there like a champ... I really love the kid!"

"Okay, so back to the future... what's next for the newest Lioness girl?"

"Well, the August PPV is coming up next and I'm looking for a fight... I've got some ideas already!"

"Well, I hear the same things. Look, I'm no upstart nor spring chicken compared to some of these new girls. But if I'm the true heir apparent to Charlize Theron's throne then I need to pick my own battles. Some of my opponents back in Philly didn't really serve my purpose any good. And look now, Hannah Ferguson, Karlie Kloss, Hilary Rhoda and of course Kate 'The Great' lead the viewing numbers while I got fired and replaced by let's face it, a younger model. What do all these girls have that I don't?"

"Well... I hear you've rejected one offer since landing on the market and several people wanted to sign you but nobody could trace you anywhere. What's all about that?"

"So I took a couple of months off. Big deal. I knew my name will be scouted by just about anyone who ever saw me in action... but well, here I am... you don't have to worry about me anymore. I'm back!!" (laughs)

"I suspect everyone would like to hear about your schedule beyond the August PPV, the JMDD drill, the infamous Kate Upton ducking... so many things to discuss but I see our boss signals we should leave it here. I'm sure Tess Valmore will be making some phone calls soon... you know, she's apparently in much better relations with Mr. V lately."

"You don't say?" (laughs)

"OK, so those were the first impressions from our fellow Lioness... the all new and shiny Lioness... and of course she'll be presented with the leopard print bikini during tonight's private introduction session. Everyone's invited to our party and well, I guess we can say Nicole's homecoming event turned out to be a little different than previously planned!"

However introducing Brooklyn Decker into the Lioness Club of America was Mr. V's original plan all along...
