Now it's time for the main event and what a way to start off the year! The FCBA welterweight title is up for grabs now with the two winners of the first two Diamond Boxing Tournaments fighting it out to be the champion. Camille Kostek finished last year strong by winning the Queen of the Ice Hotel crown. Robyn Lawley won the welterweight title and is on a nineteen fight win streak. The old saying "the unstoppable force meets the immoveable object" who cracks tonight?
Before the bout a few of the legends in the division with some of its newest stars got a chance to give their thoughts on this major fight. With the FCBA Network's Alicia Atout going around the ballroom hired out for the press event.
Ali Landry still looking stunning as when she was twenty stands in a black dress that shows her legs. When asked for her opinion she answers "well I have to say Robyn is the most impressive physical fighter I have ever seen! While of course she is tall, which isn't that uncommon now it seems looking over the division. Robyn knows how to use that height better then anyone else. She hits hard and has skills that match some of the greats now. Sorry to Kostek fans but I don't see her surviving the beating she could get tonight." Being blunt on her thoughts.
While rival of both Kate Upton in her gold dress that shows plenty of her amazing cleavage looks in a good mood. She tells Alicia "look I find Camille a low rate copy of me and Robyn a big bytch dying to be knocked out by me, I don't really care who wins because you and the world knows they are keeping my titles warm for me." Not exactly an answer then just bragging.
Camille's stablemate Amanda Righetti butts in as she moves next to Kate in a red dress. Telling the interviewer "while Kate can go get her head out of her ass in the toilets. I have so much respect for both women, I see the work Camille puts in every day at the gym. Robyn of course beat me last month and I got a taste of what makes her special. It is going to be a great fight and I have to back my friend to bring the gold home." Kate of course isn't happy at Amanda. With those two scowling but maybe thinking better of going at it in expensive dresses.
Of course then there's Jenny "the knife" McCarthy buzzing around. She is wearing a white toga looking dress with gold sandals as if she arrived from heaven, the looks she is getting is more that she came from hell with her butting into conversations to put her wit on show.
Seeing Alicia she rushes over to her and more importantly the camera. Jenny hands on hips looking at Alicia to ask her a question, the interviewer a little dumbfounded why at an event to celebrate the great welterweight fighters in FCBA history that the bantamweight battler Jenny is there but she is the stablemate of Robyn's after all.
When asked for her opinion on the fight. Jenny replies "oh my god what a silly question. It's like if the earth is flat well duh! I have seen those scientist on my Mac PC tell me it is. As clear as that is, so will Godzilla knocking out Kostek will be. Didn't Kostek used to be one of those dancing hookers in the old man's stable?" Alicia looks puzzled till she realises that Jenny is mixing Camille up with either Brooklyn Decker, Charlotte McKinney or Antje Uttgaard from the Front Street stable.
Before she can correct her Jenny is off to bug Amanda as she yells "hey Big Rig! Just a minute!" Alicia glad she isn't near there in case of any punches coming the way of Jenny's soon.
After all that it's time for the fighters to meet on stage and give a few thoughts before their showdown. Robyn coming on the right side wearing the title around her waist as she has on a black one piece swimsuit. Camille in an ice blue coloured swimsuit as she has her ice hotel crown on, though it isn't up for grabs this fight.
Hands on hips as they square up. Camille presses right into Robyn to show her she is afraid of their height difference. Annoyed by the show from her challenger. Robyn gives her a shove to knock Camille back two steps. Crown falling off making the blonde furious. Things going off the rails quickly as Camille shoves Robyn a step back. Suddenly they are wrestling as Camille looks to take Robyn down. Security racing on to drag them apart as Robyn threatens "touch me again before I fight and you won't make it to the ring!" Camille waving her to bring it on as she is ready to go now. Security struggling to keep the powerful women apart.
Clearly organisers pulling the plug on this press conference. Seeing that they won't be able to be on stage together. Instead herded off with difficulty. While there's nearly a three way fight between Jenny, Amanda and Kate as Jenny stirs the pot and nearly gets hit by both Amanda and Kate. Who give each other a nasty look too as the night is not how the organisers would have pictured it.
Fighting night. First through the curtain comes Camille. She walks to the ring with her coach Nadia Bjorlin beside her. Camille is wearing a white sports bra, matching trunks and shoes, while she has on blue gloves, hair is tied into a ponytail. She gets a hug at ringside by Amanda, who wishes her good luck as both nod and smile at each other. Of course Camille's demeanor changes once in the ring to one who wants to take her opponents head off as she paces in her corner.
Now here comes the Aussie superstar Robyn with her coach Gena Lee Nolin. Who carries the welterweight title, holding it up in the air beside the ring for all to see that her fighter is the champion. Robyn steps into the ring wearing a green sports bra with white trim, matching trunks and shoes, white gloves as her hair is braided. Robyn taps her gloves together as she stares at her foe with a predator looking at it's prey expression.
After Gena hands the title belt to the referee. Both fighters walk to the center to hear the final instructions. Though they seem more keen to lock eyes. The tension clear for all to see as the crowd is slightly more for Camille. They do touch gloves but it isn't friendly, a crack of leather rings out. Both then jog back to their corners ready for what's ahead. The bell rings to start 10 rounds of FCBA welterweight title action.
Round 1:
"Ding!" The crowd roar and here they go. Camille looking to be compact with her guard. Moving her upper body as Robyn looks to pick her off at range. A bit of a cagey start to the round as Robyn peppers the arms of Camille but isn't landing much flush.
When Robyn opens up that's when Camille comes at her like a coiled spring. A straight lands on the chin of Robyn. Who finds herself then under fire in close while Camille looks to bully her back to the ropes. Needing to push off Kostek to get some breathing room. Lawley fires in some punches around the top of her opponents head. Eyes full of fury at being caught out there.
Again with under forty seconds to go. The patience of Camille is rewarded as she crouches under a left hook. Burying a straight into the stomach of Robyn. She drives into the champion to pound away at her flanks. Robyn holding onto Camille in a tight clinch. The referee breaks them up with both letting their hands go in the dying moments of the round. At the bell Camille marches back to her corner with a nod outside the ring to her stablemate Amanda. Clearly a game plan they have come up with on show. How long can it have success though?
Round 2:
Robyn looks a little cagey as they resume boxing. Camille again keeping her guard tight. Moving her head as she looks to make the taller women miss and bash her up. Problem is Gena seems to have given Robyn an answer against it. Feints now coming from the champion. Which make Kostek react and get punished as long range strikes land on her face when her peek a boo guard opens up.
A double jab soon lands on the forehead of Camille to drive her backwards. Robyn holding the middle of the ring. This is where the Aussie stunner is dangerous, herding Camille at range as the smaller fighter can only rifle in single punches from behind her guard on the outside. Not allowed to open up as she'd hope on the champion.
A few hooks start flying in from Robyn as she gets more comfortable. Camille isn't going to stay on the outside forever. Crouching under a left hook to move in with a lunging overhand right. Slamming it onto the cheek of Robyn to turn her head. Suddenly Lawley has to deal with Kostek right in her face. Both swinging away on the inside with meaty punches echoing. The round comes to an end with Robyn looking better but knowing she has a tough fight on her hands her as Camille gives her a cold stare from her stool.
Round 3:
Again Robyn showing she is more then simply height and power. Using her skills as she mixes in feints. Camille stabbing in her punches around the stomach of her opponent. Getting clipped around her head with hooks and jabs when Robyn does unleash her punches.
A straight knocks back Camille's head. She finds herself forced back towards the Sceej corner. Where she gets to hear Jenny Mac screaming at her to go down. Camille disappointing her by holding onto Robyn. Who smartly leans on her to press the smaller fighter against the turnbuckles. Jugs in the face of an annoyed looking Camille.
Broken up with still around half the round to go. Camille is starting to throw more punches on the inside. Realising she can't stay back behind her guard picking away all the time. Getting in some solid punches on the inside. While several hits come to the side of her head. The round ends with Robyn looking calm as she sits. Camille needing Nadia to tell her to keep her cool as she sees a shake of the hear of her fighter.
Round 4:
Pushing out their corners to resume. Camille is starting to push her way in more. Fighting her more natural style as she digs to the body of Robyn. Getting nudged back to her face with a left. Getting caught with a double jab into her face as she looks to move in closer. Both fighting hard over the opening minute to grab control of the action.
Ducking under a straight. Camille lands an overhand left on the chin of Robyn. Slamming a follow up straight under the chin of the champion to push her back. Robyn finding herself swarmed by the smaller fighter. Camille showing her strength to take the bigger woman to the ropes to pound away on the body of Lawley to maul her.
Pushing off Camille so she can move into space. Robyn has to fight hard to keep off Camille. Another straight on her chin though opens up Robyn to a left/right hooking combo to the jaw of the champ. Who covers up as she finds herself pressed to the ropes. The bell soon rings to end proceedings. Camille looking fired up as she jogs to her corner. Robyn nodding as she nods she returns to her own stool. Gena telling her to not be bothered by what happened this round.
Round 5:
The heavy leather is certainly coming as punches are digging into faces. Robyn planting her feet to rifle in a solid jab/straight combination to the face of Camille. Pushing her backwards as she looks to be back on top of the action. Camille needing to duck down to fire in her own left/right combo straight into the stomach of Robyn.
A straight hits Kostek on her forehead. With a left cross knocking her back to the outside, blood starting to run from a cut on the bridge of her nose. Robyn thudding in a few punches on it to make Camille hiss out as her eyes half shut. Being forced to move side to side with the ropes near her back. Firing single punches as Robyn is throwing more punches in bunches.
A few more body shots coming from Lawley as she looks to break down the challenger. Getting caught in return over the top from Camille. The round ends with Robyn back on top. A few words being exchanged as Robyn let's Camille know she can bully her around if she wants. Uncharacteristic from Lawley but Kostek seems to have gotten under her skin a little.
Round 6:
Robyn looking to keep the heat on Camille. Stepping in with her straight punches. Catching a few cleanly on the forehead of her foe. But she is caught with a counter uppercut as Camille slips a straight. Pushing back the taller fighter to a neutral corner as she beats away at the body of the champ. Trying to break her down.
Holding Camille in tight. Robyn needing a breather. Once both are broken up she is in space. Ramming more punches back into the face of Camille to cause more blood to run from her cut. Camille dips under a right cross to counter with an overhand left onto the jaw of Robyn to turn her head.
Robyn finding herself mauled onto the ropes. Camille gritting her mouthpiece as she rams in short punches. Pulling Camille into a front headlock. Robyn is showing a little frustration as she looks at the referee to break them up with a glare. They are split up with the crowd chanting for both fighters. Fists flying in the last moments of the round. Not all punches land as they look to bash their opponent up. The bell rings to end the round as both women return to their corners to sit down.
Round 7:
Out their corners they go. Robyn looking a little rattled maybe by Camille being able to change tactics against her through this fight. But she keeps stepping up to the plate. Both smacking in some hard hits. Cracks of leather ringing out before Camille takes a hard straight into her nose again. THIS TIME A LEFT HOOK SLAMS ON THE JAW OF CAMILLE TO FORCE HER DOWN TO A KNEE!
Robyn understandably looks pleased as she walks to the neutral corner. 1...2...3... Camille giving her head a shake as blood runs from the cut onto the canvas. 4...5...6.. Camille punches the canvas with her left fist. 7...8.. getting up to her feet with a deep breath. Fists raised when asked if she can fight on to show she isn't done.
Still around a minute forty left in the round. Camille finding herself under pressure right away. Robyn trying to land another nasty hook. Not quite landing those clean, the straight punches do though. Pushing back the blonde as the Bonzo's Gym members look worried as they watch her be pushed back around the ring. Camille landing a few solid punches in return when she can make Robyn miss
Soon the round ends with Robyn jogging back to her corner. Camille cursing under her breath before walking to her corner. Nadia giving a stern telling off to Camille. Not wanting her to lose this chance to win this title again. The corner working on patching up Kostek as she has a little swelling around her left cheek to add to her troubles.
Round 8:
Sweat coating both fighters impressive bodies as they start off exchanging. Robyn looking to land a big punch to end it now. Missing though and is punished by a left hook on her ribs. Soon an uppercut lands to snap back the head of the champion. Who has some redness around her body as Camille pounds in more punches around it.
Needing to nudge back Camille. Robyn plants her feet to trade with the smaller woman. Again though she gets caught over the top. Camille showing her toughness and skills to ram in her own big punches. A left over the top opens a cut on the bottom lip of Lawley to get a few smiles in the Bonzo camp.
Using some uppercuts of her own. Robyn looking to force back to the outside her opponent. The exchanges are certainly not soft hitting. Blood and sweat going flying from the fighters. Crowd cheering the fighters on. The round comes to a close with both putting hands on their hips. Starting to ready feel this fight as they walk to their corners. Robyn spitting a little blood from a cut on the inside of her right cheek.
Round 9:
Neither exactly rushing out their corners. Exchanging stiff single punches as now they are heading towards the home stretch. Robyn has to be slightly ahead on the scorecards due to the knockdown. With Camille digging to the body of her foe. Getting caught with a meaty left hook on her ear. Then a straight bashes Camille onto her heels.
Suddenly Camille looking a little shaky there. Covering up on the ropes as Robyn slugs her around her guard. Power punches knocking around Camille's head as the referee is watching closely. Camille desperately clinches up with Robyn. A little of her blood from her cut rubbing onto Robyn's jugs.
Broken up, Camille is on the defensive. Robyn stalking after her with her jab. Not wanting to walk into a big punch but Jenny is yelling at her to batter her opponent's lights out. Camille looks relieved when the bell rings. Sitting on her stool knowing that round was probably as good as a knockdown against her the way she was rocked around. Robyn taking a few deep breaths as they are about to head into the final round.
Round 10:
Pushing off their stools as they are waved to the center of the ring. Referee wishes both luck and gets them to touch up their gloves. Back to the corners they go. With the bell ringing to start the final round.
"Ding!" Seeing a need for a knockout, Camille is pushing forwards more. Robyn wanting to stick to the jab with her straights coming in behind the ones that land flush. Hard fought start to the round as they try to control the action. Camille getting shoved back by Robyn when she gets in too close for the champions liking.
A feint from Kostek opens up the champion to a nasty harpoon looking right into the liver area of Robyn. Who cries out as she bends forwards. AN UPPERCUT LANDS ON THE FACE OF ROBYN! WHO CRUMBLES TO ALL FOURS!
Shock in the Sceej side of the ring as Camille walks with hands on top of her head to the neutral corner. 1...2...3... Robyn groans as she holds her stomach. Blood dripping off her bottom lip to the canvas. 4...5...6...7... Robyn gets to her haunches. 8... Trying to get to her feet as she holds her stomach. 9.. her right leg goes from under her as she doesn't seem to have any energy! 10 it's all over! We have a new champion!
Winner and New FCBA welterweight champion! Camille Kostek KO Round 10
After:
There's a mixture of silence and loud cheers. Camille tiredly falls to her right knee. Left bent with her foot planted. Gloves covering her face as she is crying tears of joy. She has finally reached her ultimate goal as she now has the world title to prove she is one of the absolute best in the ring today.
Her coach and corner crew all jumping for joy outside the ring. Amanda applauding her with a tear or two in her eyes for her friend. Wiping them away as Camille looks to the heavens. Walking back to her corner to be met with a hug from Nadia. Who tells her she deserves this.
The former champion has her eyes locked on the canvas with tears streaming down her cheeks. Gena steps in the ring to check her over. With Gena putting an arm around the shoulders of Robyn after helping her to her knees. Maybe finally the wear of winning so many tough fights back to back finally caught up to her but Robyn for the first time in over a year couldn't close the deal when she was on top. Probably making this defeat even worse for her.
Over to her corner goes Robyn with help from Gena. While Jenny is going wild. Arguing with a few people around her as Tess Valmore just shakes her head at her old verbal sparring partners antics. Jenny feeling the referee has aided the downfall of her stablemate. In the ring Robyn getting patched up by her corner crew.
Soon both women are cleaned up. Heading to the middle of the ring for the final result. Camille wiping tears away as the title is put around her waist. Left hand raised by the referee as Robyn glumly nods along. Leaving the ring moments later as this isn't her moment. It is the new champions.
But Robyn should certainly not be suddenly the forgotten woman after losing the title. She had one of the greatest years of any fighter last year. While this is certainly not how she wanted to kick off 2023. Expect Robyn to bounce back quickly.
Still in the ring. Camille has a visitor as Amanda is now in the ring. An embrace between the two stablemates as Amanda tells Camille this is her time. Both smiling fighting back tears as this is emotional for them. Training together for a good few years.
Soon they leave the ring together. Camille tapping the title around her waist with a big grin. Amanda telling her the first drink is on her as Nadia is beaming. Looking proud of her protégé becoming a rare double champion. Who will be the first challenger to Camille?

Slamming it onto the cheek of Robyn to turn her head. Suddenly Lawley has to deal with Kostek right in her face. Both swinging away on the inside with meaty punches echoing. The round comes to an end with Robyn looking better but knowing she has a tough fight on her hands her as Camille gives her a cold stare from her stool.
Round 3:
Again Robyn showing she is more then simply height and power. Using her skills as she mixes in feints. Camille stabbing in her punches around the stomach of her opponent. Getting clipped around her head with hooks and jabs when Robyn does unleash her punches.
A straight knocks back Camille's head. She finds herself forced back towards the Sceej corner. Where she gets to hear Jenny Mac screaming at her to go down. Camille disappointing her by holding onto Robyn. Who smartly leans on her to press the smaller fighter against the turnbuckles. Jugs in the face of an annoyed looking Camille.
Broken up with still around half the round to go. Camille is starting to throw more punches on the inside. Realising she can't stay back behind her guard picking away all the time. Getting in some solid punches on the inside. While several hits come to the side of her head. The round ends with Robyn looking calm as she sits. Camille needing Nadia to tell her to keep her cool as she sees a shake of the hear of her fighter.
Round 4:
Pushing out their corners to resume. Camille is starting to push her way in more. Fighting her more natural style as she digs to the body of Robyn. Getting nudged back to her face with a left. Getting caught with a double jab into her face as she looks to move in closer. Both fighting hard over the opening minute to grab control of the action.
Ducking under a straight. Camille lands an overhand left on the chin of Robyn. Slamming a follow up straight under the chin of the champion to push her back. Robyn finding herself swarmed by the smaller fighter. Camille showing her strength to take the bigger woman to the ropes to pound away on the body of Lawley to maul her.
Pushing off Camille so she can move into space. Robyn has to fight hard to keep off Camille. Another straight on her chin though opens up Robyn to a left/right hooking combo to the jaw of the champ. Who covers up as she finds herself pressed to the ropes. The bell soon rings to end proceedings. Camille looking fired up as she jogs to her corner. Robyn nodding as she nods she returns to her own stool. Gena telling her to not be bothered by what happened this round.
Round 5:
The heavy leather is certainly coming as punches are digging into faces. Robyn planting her feet to rifle in a solid jab/straight combination to the face of Camille. Pushing her backwards as she looks to be back on top of the action. Camille needing to duck down to fire in her own left/right combo straight into the stomach of Robyn.
A straight hits Kostek on her forehead. With a left cross knocking her back to the outside, blood starting to run from a cut on the bridge of her nose. Robyn thudding in a few punches on it to make Camille hiss out as her eyes half shut. Being forced to move side to side with the ropes near her back. Firing single punches as Robyn is throwing more punches in bunches.
A few more body shots coming from Lawley as she looks to break down the challenger. Getting caught in return over the top from Camille. The round ends with Robyn back on top. A few words being exchanged as Robyn let's Camille know she can bully her around if she wants. Uncharacteristic from Lawley but Kostek seems to have gotten under her skin a little.
Round 6:
Robyn looking to keep the heat on Camille. Stepping in with her straight punches. Catching a few cleanly on the forehead of her foe. But she is caught with a counter uppercut as Camille slips a straight. Pushing back the taller fighter to a neutral corner as she beats away at the body of the champ. Trying to break her down.
Holding Camille in tight. Robyn needing a breather. Once both are broken up she is in space. Ramming more punches back into the face of Camille to cause more blood to run from her cut. Camille dips under a right cross to counter with an overhand left onto the jaw of Robyn to turn her head.
Robyn finding herself mauled onto the ropes. Camille gritting her mouthpiece as she rams in short punches. Pulling Camille into a front headlock. Robyn is showing a little frustration as she looks at the referee to break them up with a glare. They are split up with the crowd chanting for both fighters. Fists flying in the last moments of the round. Not all punches land as they look to bash their opponent up. The bell rings to end the round as both women return to their corners to sit down.
Round 7:
Out their corners they go. Robyn looking a little rattled maybe by Camille being able to change tactics against her through this fight. But she keeps stepping up to the plate. Both smacking in some hard hits. Cracks of leather ringing out before Camille takes a hard straight into her nose again. THIS TIME A LEFT HOOK SLAMS ON THE JAW OF CAMILLE TO FORCE HER DOWN TO A KNEE!
Robyn understandably looks pleased as she walks to the neutral corner. 1...2...3... Camille giving her head a shake as blood runs from the cut onto the canvas. 4...5...6.. Camille punches the canvas with her left fist. 7...8.. getting up to her feet with a deep breath. Fists raised when asked if she can fight on to show she isn't done.
Still around a minute forty left in the round. Camille finding herself under pressure right away. Robyn trying to land another nasty hook. Not quite landing those clean, the straight punches do though. Pushing back the blonde as the Bonzo's Gym members look worried as they watch her be pushed back around the ring. Camille landing a few solid punches in return when she can make Robyn miss
Soon the round ends with Robyn jogging back to her corner. Camille cursing under her breath before walking to her corner. Nadia giving a stern telling off to Camille. Not wanting her to lose this chance to win this title again. The corner working on patching up Kostek as she has a little swelling around her left cheek to add to her troubles.
Round 8:
Sweat coating both fighters impressive bodies as they start off exchanging. Robyn looking to land a big punch to end it now. Missing though and is punished by a left hook on her ribs. Soon an uppercut lands to snap back the head of the champion. Who has some redness around her body as Camille pounds in more punches around it.
Needing to nudge back Camille. Robyn plants her feet to trade with the smaller woman. Again though she gets caught over the top. Camille showing her toughness and skills to ram in her own big punches. A left over the top opens a cut on the bottom lip of Lawley to get a few smiles in the Bonzo camp.
Using some uppercuts of her own. Robyn looking to force back to the outside her opponent. The exchanges are certainly not soft hitting. Blood and sweat going flying from the fighters. Crowd cheering the fighters on. The round comes to a close with both putting hands on their hips. Starting to ready feel this fight as they walk to their corners. Robyn spitting a little blood from a cut on the inside of her right cheek.
Round 9:
Neither exactly rushing out their corners. Exchanging stiff single punches as now they are heading towards the home stretch. Robyn has to be slightly ahead on the scorecards due to the knockdown. With Camille digging to the body of her foe. Getting caught with a meaty left hook on her ear. Then a straight bashes Camille onto her heels.
Suddenly Camille looking a little shaky there. Covering up on the ropes as Robyn slugs her around her guard. Power punches knocking around Camille's head as the referee is watching closely. Camille desperately clinches up with Robyn. A little of her blood from her cut rubbing onto Robyn's jugs.
Broken up, Camille is on the defensive. Robyn stalking after her with her jab. Not wanting to walk into a big punch but Jenny is yelling at her to batter her opponent's lights out. Camille looks relieved when the bell rings. Sitting on her stool knowing that round was probably as good as a knockdown against her the way she was rocked around. Robyn taking a few deep breaths as they are about to head into the final round.
Round 10:
Pushing off their stools as they are waved to the center of the ring. Referee wishes both luck and gets them to touch up their gloves. Back to the corners they go. With the bell ringing to start the final round.
"Ding!" Seeing a need for a knockout, Camille is pushing forwards more. Robyn wanting to stick to the jab with her straights coming in behind the ones that land flush. Hard fought start to the round as they try to control the action. Camille getting shoved back by Robyn when she gets in too close for the champions liking.
A feint from Kostek opens up the champion to a nasty harpoon looking right into the liver area of Robyn. Who cries out as she bends forwards. AN UPPERCUT LANDS ON THE FACE OF ROBYN! WHO CRUMBLES TO ALL FOURS!
Shock in the Sceej side of the ring as Camille walks with hands on top of her head to the neutral corner. 1...2...3... Robyn groans as she holds her stomach. Blood dripping off her bottom lip to the canvas. 4...5...6...7... Robyn gets to her haunches. 8... Trying to get to her feet as she holds her stomach. 9.. her right leg goes from under her as she doesn't seem to have any energy! 10 it's all over! We have a new champion!

After:
There's a mixture of silence and loud cheers. Camille tiredly falls to her right knee. Left bent with her foot planted. Gloves covering her face as she is crying tears of joy. She has finally reached her ultimate goal as she now has the world title to prove she is one of the absolute best in the ring today.
Her coach and corner crew all jumping for joy outside the ring. Amanda applauding her with a tear or two in her eyes for her friend. Wiping them away as Camille looks to the heavens. Walking back to her corner to be met with a hug from Nadia. Who tells her she deserves this.
The former champion has her eyes locked on the canvas with tears streaming down her cheeks. Gena steps in the ring to check her over. With Gena putting an arm around the shoulders of Robyn after helping her to her knees. Maybe finally the wear of winning so many tough fights back to back finally caught up to her but Robyn for the first time in over a year couldn't close the deal when she was on top. Probably making this defeat even worse for her.
Over to her corner goes Robyn with help from Gena. While Jenny is going wild. Arguing with a few people around her as Tess Valmore just shakes her head at her old verbal sparring partners antics. Jenny feeling the referee has aided the downfall of her stablemate. In the ring Robyn getting patched up by her corner crew.
Soon both women are cleaned up. Heading to the middle of the ring for the final result. Camille wiping tears away as the title is put around her waist. Left hand raised by the referee as Robyn glumly nods along. Leaving the ring moments later as this isn't her moment. It is the new champions.
But Robyn should certainly not be suddenly the forgotten woman after losing the title. She had one of the greatest years of any fighter last year. While this is certainly not how she wanted to kick off 2023. Expect Robyn to bounce back quickly.
Still in the ring. Camille has a visitor as Amanda is now in the ring. An embrace between the two stablemates as Amanda tells Camille this is her time. Both smiling fighting back tears as this is emotional for them. Training together for a good few years.
Soon they leave the ring together. Camille tapping the title around her waist with a big grin. Amanda telling her the first drink is on her as Nadia is beaming. Looking proud of her protégé becoming a rare double champion. Who will be the first challenger to Camille?
